Whats for Dinner?

I need some dinner ideas! First of all I am not a very good cook and I need to get better at that. And second, we definitely need to eat healthier. And lastly Josh is usually my cooker and my new idea finder but he is not going to be here as much to help out. So on any night, every night, or when you feel like it, either send me a post or send me an email and just tell me what you had for dinner tonight. And for those that also want ideas, I will post what we had. Just a warning, some of it probably won't always be so healthy. There is always something to improve on isn't there!!! There is a link to our emal on the right of our blog --------> if you want to use it. Thanks for your help!

One of our favorite restaurants is Winger's, so Josh had the idea to go buy their sauce and then go buy some breaded chicken fillets and some salad. I think it was the fanciest dinner we have ever had at home.

(by the way, this was posted by Amber. I was just on Joshes computer and forgot to log him out and sign in as me :) :) :)

I will be watching this. :) I am in desperate need of new ideas as well. Tonight we're having half off Happy Meals :P but tomorrow we're having Hawaiian Haystacks. So yummy and easy as cake. If you don't know what those are drop me a line and I'll let ya know.

Ok guys, I am telling ya, invest in a good cookbook. I told Amber this already but try out the Betty Crocker Diabetes Cook book. Te recipes are simple and already nutritious and you can make them more healthy by using sugar substitutes or whole wheat flour. It has a section on eating like a diabetic, which is how we should eat anyway, so you have an understanding to what you need in your diet. I am still trying out most of the resipes, but I haven't found one I didn't like yet.

Check our blog every now and then. Sarah and I occasionally post recepies that we liked. We actually have a couple of them posted currently. If you do not see them then look under recepies on the right hand side of the screen. Our blog address is theoriginalswannsnest.blogspot.com
We have been trying to eat healthier as well. Each night is dedicated to a type of food.noodles, salad, meat, soups, ect. Have fun and keep in touch.
