Question...

So I was doing the boys' laundry the other day and I was taking the clothes from the washer to the drying, I was just chuckling at the funny things that are left in their pockets that are at the bottom of the washer or end up at the end of the dryer; rocks, chapstick, toys, pennies, just stuff they found around the house or outside. This also got me to remembering when I worked at a dry cleaners in Pocatello. It was part of my job before doing anything else with the clothing, that I check all the pockets of the clothing. It is funny the things that was found. One time I stuck my hand in a pocket and felt something totally weird and I totally freaked out. The hilarious thing is it was only a coushe (sp?) ball but it was the scariest feeling when I did not know what it was.

Anyway, so my question is, what is the funniest, scariest, most interesting, whatever thing you have found in the washer or dryer after doing laundry?

So when my husband and I first got married I watched my Nephew that was in Kindergarten when he got out of school. For some reason that I don't remember now I had to wash his clothes while he was at my house. I reached into his pocket out of pure habit, and I felt something so not even thinking I pulled it out and there I stood holding a dried up worm. Yes, a dried worm. I still to this day have no idea why he decided to put it in his pocket while he was at school, but by the time I found it the poor little thing was long gone.

I don't know if I have anything weird I've found. But it's a never ending battle with chapstick in the laundry. Gianna is such a girl and always manages to get her hands on some chap stick. The one time I don't check her pockets it's sure to end up in there. I hate the awful mess it makes when it gets on the clothes.
