Using my phone, I took a video of his first bite along with the candle and the singing, but in my technological ineptness I didn't get it saved. I was upset at myself. Oh well.
Life is kept busy with work, kids, and callings. That along with trying to keep up with the yard and other household chores keeps us moving. I wish life had a pause button like my DVR so that I could just take a break and rest for a minute. It seems like all I do is work, eat, and sleep. Jakey has also been taking steps here and there, and will go three or four steps walking and then try to run. It is cute. He "runs" to the door with his brothers anytime I come home from being gone.
Well, there is a little bit to chew on until the next long overdue update hits the webwaves.
