I'd like to say that the reason that more posts haven't appeared recently is due to the fact that I've been so overwhelmingly busy that I haven't had time. While that is partially the case, it's not the entire truth. I've sat down to post several times, but just haven't felt creative. I think my brother said it best on his blog. Who wants to read about my boring life?
Anyway, as Amber mentioned I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Which, after about 2 months is getting under control. I'm having to learn how to eat again. At least, learn how to foods that are better for me. How come foods that are good for me chew like gravel and taste like chalk or worse? It's definately changing the way I eat.
Austin and Jeffrey came home the other day looking like swamp thing. Amber mentioned it in her latest post and there is a picture. I'm sure glad we don't live by a lake or pond or other large body of water. I'm glad it's just the neighbor's ditch, which I know can be just as dangerous but I feel safer anyway.
My latest "keep me busy in my spare time" project is running really, really well. My dad had an old 1978 Honda Hawk motorcycle that he bought to commute to work on. A throttle cable or something broke and after he got it fixed didn't ride it much for whatever reason. Then after he passed away it sat even longer. My brother tried to work with it a little but just didn't have the time to devote to it. Well, last summer I had my mom bring it up to me along with all the pieces and parts she could find laying around. About a month ago I got it started up for the first time in probably about 8 - 10 years. It ran a little rough for a while. I put some B12 Chemtool in the gas and it's done wonders. Now I just need brakes and I'll be all set. I do cruise up and down our little cul-de-sac and the two older boys love going on rides. I can't wait to get the brakes fixed and get it licensed so that I can go on a longer ride.
Well, if you're still awake reading this, you're probably just barely awake. So, until next time, Silly Tator!

I'm gonna send Nathan the link to your blog so he can help you figure out your motorcylce (if you haven't already). He will LOVE that you are fixing it up.
